Prehistory at the Laughing Dragon

Are you brave like a Viking? The Laughing Dragon – The Information Centre of Prehistory in Eura – familiarises visitors with life during the Iron Age. Explore discoveries from the Viking Age and the many temporary exhibitions. The Laughing Dragon also has swords, toys, dishes and other artefacts modelled after prehistoric discoveries. Come and play at the Kippari Park in Rauma

You can play at the Kippari Park in Rauma throughout the year. The traffic park offers a safe environment for children to learn the rules of the road, so grab a bicycle, pedal car or electric car and screech your tyres, weather permitting! Guided activities are organised throughout the summer. Remember to pay attention to the pedestrians!

Sailors' life at Rauma Maritime Museum

Ahoy, all aboard! Rauma Maritime Museum offers something to see and experience for everyone, including the youngest family members. The "Do Touch!" features of the exhibition allow children to learn first-hand about life at sea. Put your sailing skills to the test in the navigation simulator! The museum also offers guided adventure tours for birthday parties and school and nursery groups. The tours must be booked in advance. Pull up the anchor and head for an adventure. Explore a wreck or sail around Cape Horn!

Colour workshops for families with babies

Colour workshops are about experiencing colours and materials through several senses, interactive activities and living in the moment. Workshops begin with touching different materials and end with hand-made creations. These workshops are intended for babies and older children. Provide your child with a colourful experience – come and enjoy art together! Colour workshops are organised by the Pori Centre for Children's Culture and the Network of Children's Culture in Satakunta.

Free Angry Birds play areas

Help the birds save their young ones from the green pigs! The world's first Angry Birds activity park located in a city centre was opened at the Pori market square in the summer of 2012. Today, there are three Angry Birds parks in Pori: at the market square, in Kirjurinluoto and in Yyteri. The parks have slides, climbing frames, bird nests and much more. All parks are free of charge and open to everyone. Let your imagination fly!
