SuomiAreena

Organised in Pori, SuomiAreena offers societal discussions and political atmosphere alongside Pori Jazz. Come and listen to the discussion events that are open to all and while you are there, enjoy the summer scenery of Pori. Interesting topics touch any and all possible topics about society. Points of view are surprising and fresh. During the event, you can spot decision makers, athletes, politicians and movers and shakers from different fields, both from Finland and many other parts of the world. Outlaws Festival

Organised by the Rakastajat Theatre, the Outlaws Festival is held in Pori. The event provides visibility to independent theatre groups. The Outlaws Festival has earned its popularity from uncompromising operations and high-quality programs. Both domestic and foreign theatre groups will perform there. In addition to theatres, performances can be enjoyed on city streets and in cafés and restaurants - the event spreads throughout the city!

Rauma Lace Week

Rauma Lace Week is a city event for the whole family! True to its name, the event offers a different lace-related program from exhibitions to lace making, in a traditional and modern fashion. The week is also filled with music and theatre performances, exhibitions and crafty skills. Children's Lace Week, the crowning of Miss Lace and the first hockey games of the season (also known as the Lace Tournament) are also a part of the celebration! The culmination of the event is the Night of Black Lace. There is something to do from early morning to late night and the city streets are filled with people having a good time, performances and fair booths. There is plenty to see and do - come and enjoy the atmosphere!

Willi Kansa invites you to perform at a theatre competition in Karvia! Put together a theatre group and register for the event! Performance locations vary from traditional stages to sawdust tracks and fire stations. Winners will receive fame and fortune!

Cross procession and Catholic commemoration mass of Kirkkokari

The event takes place in Köyliö on the Sunday closest to June 18th. According to legend, the peasant Lalli murdered Bishop Henry on the ice of Lake Köyliönjärvi, near Kirkkokari, in 1156. The location is Kirkkokari, which is also known as Saint Henry's Island. Kirkkokari in Köyliönjärvi is one of the national landscapes of Finland and it is currently the only place of pilgrimage for Roman Catholics in the Nordic countries.
