Poroholma welcomes visitors in the local dialect: “Tere tulemast!” Sandy beaches, live music, log cabins, local delicacies and much more – the Poroholma holiday park offers something for everyone. How would you like to spend your holiday in Poroholma?

Located just two kilometres from Old Rauma, Poroholma is the fourth holiday centre in Finland to have been awarded five stars. Its area of 3.5 hectares is located amidst nature, yet close to the services of the city centre.
- We are an oasis in the middle of the city, summarises Site Manager Tommi Toivonen.

Journey to Poroholma is fascinating onboard Kake Kaupunkijuna, the city train. The train starts the journey in Old Rauma, providing information on the sights along the way. When visitors arrive in Poroholma, they are taken on a tour of the area on an electric golf cart. During the tour, visitors are told about the history of the area and the opportunities Poroholma offers.
- We want to be a leading holiday centre in Finland, which is why we are actively seeking new ideas and influences from abroad as well. We want to fulfill all our visitors' wishes the best we can. We operate completely with our customers in mind.

Poroholma has plenty of choices!

How about spending the night in a 19th-century lace villa or an idyllic log cabin? Perhaps you would like to enjoy a traditional maritime buffet on a sailing ship or enjoy the last rays of the sun on a beach terrace in the evening? The sandy beaches and the nearby Otanlahti sports area also offer a broad range of opportunities for relaxation.

- We heat the saunas early in the morning and keep them warm until midnight, if needed, Tommi promises. The sea in the vicinity of Poroholma is also at your disposal for summer fun. The guest harbour accommodates yachts and smaller boats. Water buses offer cruises in the archipelago and Schooner Kathrina serves as a restaurant, a cruise ship and a venue for events.

There is also a harbour for sailships in Poroholma, and it is home for three historical sailships: brig Gerda, schooner Kathrina and galleass Marita.

The natural area is fascinating

According to Tommi, the competitive strengths of Poroholma also include the majestic nature, which attracts praise from visitors.
We have kept our area in its original natural state, as we didn't want to develop it too much. The restored buildings and 200-year-old trees are cherished with appropriate devotion.

Every year, Poroholma welcomes both new and returning visitors from Finland and abroad, from as far as Australia.
- Summers in Finland are short. People want to spend their holiday in a place where they can enjoy good company, delicious food and high-quality services!
